Ride For Ralph

The COGS Social Motorcycle Club Inc will coordinate a Ride on the 16^th of April 2023 in the Southern highlands to further raise funds for Ralph and his Loving Family.

The run destination is from Robertson Pie Shop through the highlands and back to Robertson Bowling Club where we will hold a monster raffle, Sausage sizzle and bike show.

Ride Registration Opens at 9am – $20/Bike (All money raised is going directly to the family)

A Message from the Thomas family:

Hi, my name is Reece. In February 2022, my wife Sarah and I had a baby boy, Ralph. Unfortunately, not everything went as we’d hoped, and Ralph was born with a very rare genetic deletion (less than 100 cases worldwide) on the Kat6b gene. This gene deletion occurs De novo and is not able to be detected on any common testing. This detection effects Ralph’s life in a wide range of ways. Ralph and Sarah were at the Sydney Children’s hospital in Randwick for the first 6 months of Ralph’s life. We have now made it home and have a constant steam of specialist appointments in Sydney, 2 hours drive from home and some appointments locally almost every day. We have made it as far as we have on our savings, and we have been reluctant to ask for help but are also trying to remain realistic about the cost involved so far and going forward. Any funds would go toward travel/motel cost, home modifications, out of pocket medical expenses, equipment, living cost and household bills.
