Which Reaper Chain Drive Camshaft Is Best For You?
Feuling Parts make a great range of Camshafts for the 2017up Milwaukee-Eight with different Grinds. So, how do you know which grind is the best fit for you and your bike?
Here is a summary of your different options with the basic specs and additional info on related parts that may be required depending on your selection.
Read through the full article to get a better understanding of which one will best suit you. Going bigger isn’t always better and it may be overkill for the way you really want your bike setup.
If you’re using your bike as a daily drive or just weekend cruising then you’ll want a different setup than someone aiming to get the max performance while smashing the limiter.
The following is a summary to help you decide which is best for you. If you have any questions then give us a call on 07-3252-5381.

Recommended Additional Parts for 508, 521, 538 & 592 Camshafts
These aggressive camshafts require high lift and higher load valve springs, performance pushrods and lifters.
High flow air cleaner and stepped exhaust pipes are highly recommended if not already fitted.
FEULING also recommends matching these camshafts with their RACE SERIES oiling system FE-7097 or FE-7099.
High lift High Load valve springs are required, Part SS900-0958
Heavy duty pushrods are highly recommended, Part FE-4087
Feuling HP+ Performance Pushrods
0.165in. Wall thickness, One piece (non-adjustable), Eliminates pushrod flex
-Reduces valve-train harmonics and allows increased valve lift
-Fixed Length 4130 Chrome moly one piece pushrods with swedged formed ends.
-Heavy duty 7/16in. diameter tube with 0.165 wall thickness, precision concentricity, heat treated with a black oxide finish.
-Intake and Exhaust length pushrods are stock replacement lengths and designed to work with the factory base circle camshaft dimensions.
-These pushrods work with all Feuling, stock and SE® M8 camshafts.
-Due to the unstable nature of this 4 valve engine design with 1 rocker arm activating 2 valve springs Feuling highly recommends running one piece pushrods over quick install adjustable rods to maintain maximum cam/valve lift and reduce valvetrian harmonics and associated hydraulic lifter issues.
