Scorpion Lock-up Clutches
Scorpion Lock-up Clutches are designed to handle high performance use on custom bikes. These are built tough to last under pressure even with big inch motors producing 200+ HP.
They have a greatly increased surface area over stock clutches. This means your lever effort is kept to a minimum when shifting gears.
The high capacity and six coil spring provide smoother shifting and a more linear engagement. Barnett also provide 3 different coil spring sets so you can adjust your spring pressure to tune your clutch perfectly for your modified bike’s horsepower.
Barnett’s Scorpion Lock-up Clutches feature CNC machined, 6061-T6 billet aluminum pressure plate designed to fit inside your stock type basket & under your stock cover. However if you want a stronger basket then they also make those.
Top quality ring gear conversion kits, starter shaft assemblies and pinion gears are also available.
The Scorpion range are available for most Harley-Davidson models including Milwaukee-Eight Softails and Touring bikes.

Barnett Billet Clutch Baskets
Barnett billet clutch baskets are CNC machined from the most durable billet aluminum available, hard anodized, and features their ‘second generation’ stainless steel inserts to eliminate grooving from the clutch plate tabs.
These inserts are made from a 50% harder stainless steel than before for extreme wear resistance and to ensure smooth, consistent performance, even under the harshest of conditions.
Precision machined oil passage windows also create more oil flow to help the plates run cooler and last longer. Grade 8 fasteners are also included as well as the backing plate (where applicable) and installation instructions.

Precision machined from 2024-T3 billet aluminum and hard anodized, this basket is superior in quality and durability to the stock basket.
Tech Tips:-
- Requires removing your stock ring gear/primary gear and bolting on to the new Scorpion basket.
