Doing weird and wild things on Harley’s has taken this Traralgon, Victoria local all the way to the X Games.

We first came to know the enigmatic character that is Dean Ross through his involvement with Legend Suspensions and Two Brothers Racing. Legend got behind Dean when his Instagram account started blowing up, thanks to countless photos of physics-defying wheelies, burnouts, and the occasional airborne Harley-Davidson.

The Traralgon, Victoria local and founder of Six-Six Harley Wheelies, seems to combine an insane riding ability with a complete absence of self-preservation. His Instagram page is an endless stream of situations that would end in severe pain for ordinary people.

Given this uncanny ability to push a bike to it’s limits and keep it upright, it was no surprise that when H-D Hooligan racing emerged in Australia Dean took to it like a Ibis to a bin – head first, fearless, and determined to succeed.

Last month Dean headed to the X-Games qualifier at the Born Free Stampede in California. After spending a week building a bike stateside, it’s motor blew on just the second practice lap. On a borrowed bike Dean still managed to qualify for the biggest Hooligan event of the year – August’s X Games in Minneapolis.

A top bloke both on and off the bike, Rollies Speed Shop is proud to be sponsoring Dean and his quest for X-Games glory.  Keep an eye out for him and fellow Aussie Josh James – founder of HD Hooligans, when they compete at X Games Minneapolis on the 4th of August.
